It's a telephone conversation.
Jake and his mother (they) ARE speakING.
Jake IS eatING cake and he IS drinkING apple juice.
Maybe his mother IS workING or she IS cookING.

3. Interaction

- Mimes : questions -> answers

Imagine you are at a party. A friend is phoning you and ask questions about what the friends are doing.

Who is at the party? Inès, Samuel, Jasmine and Yakup
- What IS Inès doING?
- She is eatING.
- What IS Samuel doING?
- He IS dancING.
- What ARE Jasmine and Yakup doING?
- They ARE drinkING.

=> Pour poser une question, on inverse "BE" et le sujet. "BE" s'accorde avec le sujet.
